Welcome to El Castillito
At the foot of a mountain, beneath the shadow of a great and mighty castle, there nestled a little castle.
It was a happy little castle, complete with a sunny patio for animals, a deep well with clear, cold water, and a proud Gothic arch marking the way in.
For many years, the little castle cared for families.
It stood through fire, war, and the turning of time —
until the last grandmother was taken away,
and the last grandchild stopped visiting.
The little castle was no longer safe to live in.
Still, it stood.
Its walls crumbled, pigeons nested in its cracks, and the wind danced through broken windows.
One day, Darcie opened the door and peeked in.
The little castle felt embarrassed — crumbling, sagging, and silent.
But Darcie only saw a Castillito.
As she looked down the well and up at the arch,
she saw what Emilio and Emilio-Son would one day create.
Welcome to El Castillito — home of DarKha Academy.

Emilio and the Arch
While restoring El Castillito, Emilio uncovered a hidden treasure — a centuries-old Gothic arch buried beneath time and rubble. With patient hands and an artist’s eye, he carefully cleaned and revived it, revealing the strength and beauty that now welcomes all who enter DarKha Academy.

The Arch, Patio and Well
Three guardians of the Castillito’s story — the arch, the patio, and the well — still stand, whispering memories of those who came before. Once hidden, now restored, they frame the heart of DarKha Academy: a space for gathering, growing, and dreaming anew.

Emilio-Son Prepares the Ground
With care and intention, Emilio-Son lays the foundation for the future — preparing the classroom floor where young minds will explore, create, and grow. Every tile, every step, is part of the story we’re building together at El Castillito.

The Young Learners’ Enchanted Classroom
Tucked within the Castillito’s ancient walls, this classroom was made for wonder. With soft light, playful corners, and stories in every stone, it invites our youngest learners to dream, discover, and delight in bilingual magic.
