Learning English Through Imagination
This June, our young learners are stepping through the castle gates and into a world of imagination, creativity, and English learning! Our theme, Magical Kingdoms & Enchanted Adventures, invites children to become brave knights, wise wizards, magical fairies, adventurous mermaids, and even dragon trainers as they explore English through hands-on activities, games, science experiments, crafts, and cooking.
At DarKha Academy, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged, moving, creating, and having fun. This month is full of opportunities to build confidence in English while exploring magical worlds and exciting stories.

🏰 Week 1: Welcome to the Magical Kingdom
Our adventure begins as children enter an enchanted kingdom filled with castles, dragons, fairies, and magical creatures.
Through games, songs, storytelling, speaking activities, and creative writing, students will learn the month's vocabulary while building their confidence in English.
🎨 Enchanted Craft Kingdom
Children will create magical masterpieces including:
Royal crowns
Castle artwork
Shields and knight decorations
Fairy wands
Magical creature crafts
This week focuses on imagination, creativity, and introducing key vocabulary in a fun and memorable way.
🧪 Week 2: Wizard Science Academy
Science becomes magical this week as students transform into apprentice wizards and potion masters!
Each experiment combines English learning with scientific discovery.
Experiment 1: Dragon Slime
Can we create slime worthy of a dragon's cave?
Students will follow instructions, describe textures, and use scientific vocabulary while making colourful dragon slime.
Experiment 2: Magic Potion Mixing
Young wizards will mix ingredients to create bubbling, fizzing magical potions while practicing observation and prediction skills.
Experiment 3: Frozen Fairy Jewels
Beautiful flowers and gems will be frozen inside ice blocks. Students will investigate ways to rescue the treasures while learning descriptive language.
Experiment 4: Dragon Egg Rescue
Mystery dragon eggs will arrive frozen in ice! Children must work together to free the hidden creatures using different tools and techniques.
This week encourages curiosity, teamwork, and plenty of magical excitement.
🍓 Week 3: Royal Kitchen Week & Graduation Celebration
Our final week combines cooking, creativity, and celebration as we prepare for summer.
⭐ Fairy Wand Fruit Skewers
Students will create healthy fairy wands using star-shaped fruit and colourful ingredients.
🦄 Unicorn Snack Mix
A magical mix of popcorn, pretzels, cereal, and colourful sprinkles becomes a delicious unicorn-inspired treat.
Cooking activities help children practice English through following instructions, describing ingredients, and working together.
🎓 Graduation Celebration
To celebrate all the wonderful progress made this year, we will hold a special graduation ceremony. Students will receive recognition for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm throughout the school year.

As our Magical Kingdoms & Enchanted Adventures theme comes to an end, an exciting new journey is about to begin.
The following week, our DarKha Summer Club starts, bringing even more games, projects, outdoor fun, creativity, and English immersion throughout the summer.
We can't wait to finish the school year with one final magical adventure before beginning an unforgettable summer together!
