We're about to find out!
Join us for DarKha Academy's very first Bilingual Karaoke Night, an evening filled with music, laughter and unforgettable moments as we challenge ourselves to sing in our other language.
Don't worry if you don't know every word—or even most of them! This isn't about giving a perfect performance. It's about having fun, encouraging one another and discovering that learning a language can be joyful, memorable and just a little bit ridiculous.
Because sometimes the best way to improve your confidence is simply to grab a microphone and give it a go.

At DarKha Academy, we believe languages grow through shared experiences.
Our Bilingual Community events are designed to bring people together outside the classroom, creating opportunities to practise English and Spanish in authentic, relaxed settings.
Music is one of the world's most powerful languages. It helps us remember vocabulary, improve pronunciation, understand culture and, most importantly, connect with one another.
Whether you're singing your favourite Beatles song, a Spanish classic, Disney, ABBA, Queen, Alejandro Sanz or Taylor Swift, every performance becomes part of the adventure.
🍕 Bring Something to Share
As with many of our community events, we'll also enjoy a relaxed potluck-style evening.
Bring a favourite snack, dessert or drink to share, and we'll create a table full of international flavours while we cheer each other on.
Because great conversations often begin around food...
...and continue with music.

What is DarKha's Bilingual Karaoke Night?
Bilingual Karaoke Night is a new DarKha Community event where English speakers sing in Spanish and Spanish speakers sing in English. It's a fun, welcoming evening that encourages language practice through music, laughter and shared experiences.
Why learn languages through music?
Music improves pronunciation, listening skills, vocabulary and confidence. Singing familiar songs helps language learners remember words naturally while enjoying the experience with others.
What happens during the event?
Participants choose songs in their second language, cheer each other on and enjoy an evening filled with music, conversation and cultural exchange. Guests are also invited to bring food or drinks to share, creating a relaxed community atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a beginner or an advanced speaker, Bilingual Karaoke Night is designed for anyone who wants to practise English or Spanish in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
