At DarKha Academy, every month is built around a central theme that connects language with real-life experiences. This October, our students will explore the beauty and wonder of autumn through songs, stories, science experiments, creative projects and hands-on cooking activities.
Rather than simply memorising vocabulary, students will experience the season using all five senses while communicating in English. They'll observe nature, ask questions, make predictions, create, cook and discover how autumn is celebrated in different parts of the world.
Because when children experience a language, they remember it.

Science takes centre stage!
Students investigate the world around them through simple experiments, observation and prediction.
English becomes the language of discovery as they ask questions, make hypotheses and explain what they observe.
Because every scientist needs language to share their discoveries.

Language comes alive in the kitchen.
Students follow recipes, measure ingredients, describe flavours and textures, and work together to prepare seasonal treats.
Cooking provides authentic opportunities to practise listening, speaking and teamwork while celebrating foods connected to the month's theme.

Although every class explores the same monthly theme, activities are carefully adapted to each age group.
Ages 3–5
Children learn through songs, movement, stories, sensory exploration and imaginative play.
Ages 6–9
Students build vocabulary and confidence through games, crafts, experiments and guided conversations.
Ages 10–12
Learners develop independence through collaborative projects, presentations, scientific inquiry and creative problem-solving.
Ages 13–17
Teenagers strengthen communication skills through discussion, leadership, cultural comparisons and real-world applications of English.
Every student is challenged at an appropriate level while remaining part of the same academy-wide learning adventure.
